Andrew Polyviou
ART EXHIBITION

EXISTENCE 2017.jpg

Andrew Polyviou is a British born creative architype who cordially invites you to partake in the principle mythos of his avant-garde mix media approach to self-actualisation.

After a traumatic personal encounter, a dramatic change of life occurred in June 2014 when Andrew was diagnosed with cancer and depression, while chemotherapy left him with permanent nerve damage in his fingers.

Six years on, we encourage you to take a journey through Andrew’s creative expressions, inspired by Art Therapy; a vehicle in aiding his physical and mental recovery.

His method is to raise and evoke his collective awareness, as he sets out to express the essence of what it means to create from within.

The Londoner’s fascination of his ancestral Cypriot roots has led him to many discoveries about; not only the Mycenaean Greeks who settled in Cyprus, but those from Arcadia.

The Hellenic Centre, Marylebone, London, W1U 5AS, will display a collection of original oil paintings on stretched cotton canvases and will be available for purchase, with a proportion of proceeds going to selected charities. Date to be confirmed.

All of which come together to address the overall key question - What is it to be a Londoner?
